Why did I choose a career in finance?
The easy answer is that I have always enjoyed numbers and finance, but I believe my youth may have had a big part in providing my focus. Growing up with a divorced mother and three sisters, money was a constant stress in our lives. It was a regular issue every month whether the mortgage could be paid or not. Seeing how hard my mother struggled financially, I made a commitment to myself at a young age to find a way to do things differently when it comes to money and finances. Earning a degree in financial management laid a strong foundation for not only myself but for others I advise. I find great joy in assisting clients obtain their financial goals in life and it is a career I love.
